Control from INSIDE the house:

In general, there are 3 primary ways to control HAI automation system from inside the house.

1. Touchscreens

Touch screens provide easy control over the entire home automation system. From any touch screen, you are able to change temperatures throughout the house, arm/disarm the security system, turn on/off/adjust any light, and control audio anywhere in the house.

With the use of a Video Board, you can view your security cameras on your touch screens. In homes with one touch screen, this is not a very cost effective route. In homes with multiple touch screens, the cost of the video board can be spread over each screen.

3. Windows Media Center - HAI has developed a plug-in for the Windows Media Center that will also allow you to control your home from your TV. It has a clean interface and is simple to operate. This software allows you to control your home from any Media Center device in your home.

Control from OUTSIDE the house: 

1. By Phone -

Out of the box, these systems are able to be controlled from any phone, anywhere in the world. For example, when driving to the airport, you realize you forgot to arm the alarm. No need to drive home; you simply call the house and arm the system.

Or, perhaps you are driving home from a day of fun in the snow and want the house to be nice and warm when you arrive home. A simple call is all it takes.

2. Snaplink (Software)
